KT :)

The trip before last when I was at KT it was so sad cuz no one was there and everynight I just stayed home watching ASTRO but this time around, it was sooo happening! I love going back when everyone's there :D Well, not everyone, but more than 5 is good enough for me!

I went out almost every night and most days too and the reason why everyone so berkobar-kobar to go out even though there's practically zero entertainment in KT is because of the return of Yang Amat Berbotox Go Chang Hua! According to Ng/Tay/Someone, his presence is even rarer and more special than Chinese New Year so we have to celebrate with as much fanfare as possible.

The first night he was here, we went back to my place after dinner for entertainment, KT style; Monopoly! That's good, clean fun I tell you. Back in KL, the Monopoly craze has already came and gone like, 8 months ago? I remembered when the GK gang was supposed to study for exams but we'd all huddle around a laptop playing Monopoly (after chor dai di and mahjong). Now in KT, the craze is starting again although it was the "manual" version this time round LOL. It's sooo refreshing cuz if I was with a bunch of friends in somewhere other than KT, we would not be rushing back home at 9 to pretend to be real estate tycoons.

The next day we went to Teluk Ketapang for sotong goreng and then to the new stadium to go-kart with our cars. My poor car, it was squealing from the way I abused it :( They went to the old place which in my opinion, SUCKED. I recommended the place I always go to and they don't really like it but FUCK YOU BITCHES CUZ THE SOTONG TOTALLY ROCKS OKAY?!?!

Why, they even had Kim Gary tissues! Is that not proof of their wickedness?

And also, we (me and Desiree) were really desperate for Zie's keropok but due to many many unfortunate circumstances, we failed to have them time after time and when we finally had them, we got 8 baskets! One for each! Woot!

Because no outings are complete with lengthy camwhoring sessions, we went to the nicest lighted place to take pics. I only post one because they all look the same and for some reason, I look shitty in almost of them ugh.
Also, a trip back to KT wouldn't be a happy one if I did not get to meet Mama/Sister/BFF/Partner-in-Prostitution NASA! I was back for only like 10 days and the first 7 I was there, he was busy playing babysitter+driver to all his lil cousins so we only got to meet once :( But you know, it's all about quality, not quantity and we had loads of fun catching up and bitching bout random stuff and also, camwhoring! I took more pics with Nasa in one night than with the rest of the gang in 5 days hahahaha :D

I am soooooo looking forward to the reunion at Pavilion this Saturday and Nasa, please come back soon. The speakers and podiums need us! LOL :p

Today I Decided to Become a Man

Well, at the very least, I tried. Behold the results.

No, I did not cut my wrists. I was doing what most kids do when they are 14 or 15, some as early as 13. I am 19 going on 20 and today was my first experience with the razor.

I never knew that shaving could turn out to be such a bloody affair. I was getting sick of the hair that's growing longer and longer above my upper lip and I thought shaving would be really simple and easy.

So I was like, shaving foam, spray liberally, grab razor, scrape off hairy parts, voila! How was I supposed to know there were like, proper methods to do it? At first it just hurts. Then blood started coming out from little tiny gashes. Then I was like, ahhh help me God I'm gonna die. Then I started panicking cuz I was going shopping and my mouth is beginning to swell making me look like I had oral herpes. UGH.

It's gonna be a while before I overcome this trauma and start going near razors again. Waxing might be a better idea for moi right? The whole day I was walking around I was sure everyone who saw me could tell that I was the boy who couldn't shave right. Oh the shame! I am such a failure I might as well be made of pure estrogen LOL.

At the Hotel in Shenzen

After the overall loveliness of Hong Kong and Macau, Shenzen was a bit... different, to say the least. When we reached I was a bit... ewwified. But then night came and we wandered out of the hotel and discovered truly cheap shopping and amazing street food! The best zhen zhu neh teh of the trip! And cheap tako's (RM1.50 for 3! We had like 15?)! And great beef balls! And sotong bakar on a stick! And mutton on a stick! Oh God I love food on sticks! OMFG I am positively starving now. After we found this apparently very famous street shopping paradise or something and the ladies all wanted to jalan a while. A while turned out to be close to 2 hours and they nabbed lots of bargains. I got sooo jealous because I missed out that the next day I shopped with a vengeance. Heh heh heh.

But on that night itself though, I was extremely bored and the room was large and cute enough, so I thought why not force my lil sis to take pics of ME? So I threw on my Accesory of the Moment, stole my sister's cape-cardigan-hoodie thing, rolled up my jeans ala Holmes and ta da, impromptu photoshoot!

The pics all turned out similar, and not that gorgeous but I edited these until there are kinda different things going on. This is proof I have too much time on my hands, but what the hell right, I only have till January before classes resume, so sue me.

After a while a couple of distractions popped up.
Distraction number 1: mom came out to the sitting room to read. Look at her face. She is soo used to my retardedness that she has absolutely no expression.
Distraction number 2. Hello monster! Do you not see the fabulosity in progress here???
I gave up after that. Behold the Gaga monster.

Macau

After HK was Macau and the one word to describe it, pretty; both the place and its people. Kebetulan the hotel we were staying at (pretty rooms too!) were housing lots and lots of dancers/models for a show so pretty people everywhere we turned;)

There wasn't much to do there except for gambling, shopping and eating because that's pretty much all there is but you know, except for gambling, shopping and eating are our fave pastimes anyway. Lots of casinos, hotels, malls and shops, foodie places and the most distinctive, pawn shops. I suppose lots of people pokai at the casinos which is why pawn shops are thriving over there.

I even got into a casino, for the first time in my life :D The minimum age was just 18 so no problems there, even though the guards at the door asked me my age before I entered. They didn't do that to anyone else, so yeah it's probably cuz of my angelic, fresh-faced, boyish look. Ahem. Jac and I didn't gamble though since the minimum bets were all like 300 bucks so we just stood around and tried to figure out the rules for all the games.

We did a bit of sightseeing, Dad did lots of gambling, Mom went shopping and we just went on a picture-taking frenzy. Just the usual. Except that Dad was ecstatic cuz he didn't have to accompany us while we did our shopping like in HK. Instead, he went and earned us more shopping $$$! :D
I have absolutely no idea what this statue person is supposed to be doing but I was attempting a porno interpretation of it. This was taken at the very famous cathedral thingy where you had to climb hundreds of stairs to reach the top and my sisters and I never even reached the halfway point. We kept stopping to take pics while the rest of the group has already reached the top, exclaim their amazement, climb back down and announce their hunger, meaning no more pics and dinnertime.
Pork chop burger! I was there for one and a half day and in total I had 3 meals containing pork chops! Is that like their food staple??
Macau is so picturesque you can practically camwhore anywhere on the streets. Even the back streets were scenic. No garbage overflowing onto the streets, no restaurants washing their dishes and therefore flooding the whole alley, no druggies hiding behind bushes. Inspiring!
Me doing my best classic prostitute-in-a back-alley shot. This would work sooo much better had I been in a cheong sam-ish outfit.
And then the next day before we went off to Shenzen, we went to The Venetian, which was a mini version of the one in Las Vegas (that's what the parents told us, they're the ones who've been there, not us). Everything was super pricey so it wasn't a good shopping trip, it was more towards sightseeing. And because it's Christmas in TWO days.... Merry Christmas bitches!

Disneyland

Onboard the adorable Disneyland Express with mickeys everywhere :)

Pictures of the family:

Pictures of the rides:

OMG I love this picture! We were on Space Mountain and the cam took pics of us at our fugliest! I've highlighted the funniest faces; Jac like a MakCik Gone Mad and Joceline looking stoned! Priceless

This is the Pooh ride. It was sooooo friggin' cute and it was slo-oo-ww compared to Space Mountain so when we saw the cameras, we had lots of time to prepare and pose and avoid the ugly/shocked/screaming faces and do our best supermodels. When we came out, there was this girl looking at the pics not realizing we were behind her and she pointed us out to her boyfriend and laughed, but not in a mean way though. We laughed too and she noticed and was sooo embarassed. Kesian.

The Buzz Lightyear ride where we get to shoot at aliens and score.

Random camwhore pics! Because what's a trip and a blog post if I didn't go crazy with the camera right?

Too cute for words!!

The fate of tomorrow lies on my shoulders. Heavy

Disneyland after sundown

Trying to bring the fierce in Alice's teacup.

Tarzan's little brother

This post is light on pictures and even lighter on words because I am a puddle of pure laziness lying on the bed right now. Despite the serious lack of extremely thrilling rides, Disneyland was fun; the rides were all really cute, the performances and shows were great (Joceline almost died when the HSM parade came on) and best of all, plenty of material for camwhores like us yay :)

High!

Becaauuuse I managed to finish a journey that usually takes about 40 minutes and 8 tracks on Circus in just under 25 minutes and 5 tracks tonight! Woot! Even when my shortcut gets blocked and I had to go through road blocks and patrol cars heheh. I've been driving for two years now, but speeding never gets old! I love the roads of night time KT :)

And also... the thing I really like doing and haven't done in a while, so I was afraid that maybe I had forgotten how to... Turns out it's one of those riding-a-bike things hehe. In fact, I think I've gotten better at riding bikes ;)

Madame Tussaud's

So our second day in HK was filled with even more tourist spots and shopping places and then we went to Madame Tussaud's which was up at The Peak. The view up there was amazing but the tram ride up and down was ughh. At first I was like, ehhh everyone that comes to HK comes to the wax museum so what's so special? Proof I am a truly cynical bitch cuz the place was a delight. I mean, all these likeness-es of famous people are just there for you to abuse. Camwhore paradise! :D
Back off, Angie! Brad's mine! Mine, I tell you!

I know right? She's such a bitch, Naomi! What, you've run out of phones? Here, throw my Razr in her face!

The very famous Jacqueline & Jef wax figures!

Excuse me Your Majesty but where's William and Harry?

And that, Mr Bush, is why you are an #$$%$%^!!

Apa?! Mau lawan ah? Jangan ingat awak sumo wrestler, saya takut tau!

Nah ambik nih!!

Hey Mr Jackson, can you teach me the moonwalk? No, I don't want to stay the night at your place!

Pssst Gillian! Show me what you showed Edison, come on~~

HK: The First Day and In General

Hola~ My ugly but precious laptop is finally revived thanks to a new super expensive adaptor (not that expensive but I could get my Puma's for that price but anyways connection to the world is more important than what I be stepping shit in).... so the HK pics are finally up! I've eliminated most from posting because it's such a hassle and I'll only be posting random ones that I find cute. Naturally, a scary amount contains my face.

This here was taken on the streets the first day we got there. The moment I reached the first thing I noticed was how it wasn't all that cold really, but all the people were all wrapped up in their coats and sweaters and boots and scarves. OMG I loved it! It's what I always do / wanted to do in KL but I always get these weird stares. LOL.

See the 'zhen zhu neh teh' I had in me hands? That was the first of many many. Yeah, on average I think I had one for every single day of the trip. That and 'yin yong nai za'. I find them to be very HK and sooo much better than the crap in pasar malams in KL. We also had more dim sum and duck than I could remember because once Dad finds something he loooves he just goes high and low looking for different, better versions of them.

And all these spelling of Chinese words in English is effing pissing me off. I'm not gonna type pearly milky bubble tea or whatever cuz it is so fucking gaybai so I'll just stick to annoying Chinese words for now. I had to put up with soooo much Cantonese there. Except for McD's and Starbucks and the like, practically no where else has English on the menu/instructions/whatever. Sooo troublesome especially during the first day when we wanted to order and I was at a total loss. Stuck to good ol' wantan mee. It got better over the next few days but it was still horrid cuz I was so terrified of making a fool of myself with my sucky Canto when ordering or when talking to snooty sales assistants.

And whooaa were they snooty. At almost all the restaurants we went to, the cutlery were all chipped and damaged cuz the waiting staff would just bang 'em on the table. Some people might find it very offensive, but I loved it! It was hilarious. When they came to collect the plates, I'd just bang them back onto the tray.

Our hotel was at this very happening area but it's not the club/bar area though :( That would have been wicked but our area was still pretty good for jalan-jalan and shopping. The first day we went to the Ladies Market (LOL at the name!) and it was basically the HK version of Petaling Street and I was mighty disappointed cuz I don't want the tourist areas. I wanna shop where all the fierce local teens are buying their stuff. But then I later found out that our area had lots of sick stores and fierce people too. There was even an Esprit outlet store. That sooo made my day. And the cool thing 'bout these stores is that they stay open till super late, as long as there're customers inside. So in some totally rad ones, we got to shop till past midnight. Looooves it.

Anyways we went back to Lui Yan Kai (it's too funny to type Ladies' Market soo many times....bwhahahahhaha) couple days later to get souvenirs and we got our first experience in public verbal abuse. We were getting souvenirs and when we bargained with them, them salespeople would start shouting and scolding us. They'd start off very nice, saying they had to make a living and then they'd finish by screaming at us to go sell our own wares, calling us crazy and trying to con them and whatever else they could think of. The funniest was when Jac wanted to get sunnies and when the lady refused to lower her price, we started walking away. Then she reluctantly called us back. When we got back she said to my sister's face in a voice so loud people from 4 stalls away could hear, 'Cannot believe you are so cheap lor! Look at your face, won't know that you are such a cheap person!' all while accepting my sis's money. Everyone turned to see. Jac was stunned to the max. BWHAHAHAHAHA.

Pikchah time!

I've always wanted a four-figure receipt! :D

Gender reassignment anyone? One of the many funny signs in HK. Most of 'em concerning the abuse of the English language.

The old folks couldn't figure it out so us kids were in charge of buying tickets for the very efficient public transport. MRT? MTR? I forgot the name heheh.

I always see people laying all their stuff out after a shopping expedition and take pics as if it's something to be proud of so I decide to do the same (even though my haul's nothing to shout about). If it were an editorial I'd call it 'For Less than RM400' although it exceeds that amount slightly and there were other stuff bought at other places later on in the trip but I was tired of taking pictures of clothes already, unless they had me in it.

Lot more pics gonna be up soon bitches :)

New Laptop!

Har har I wish! After years of abuse, my trusty one-in-a-miilion super unique Compaq has finally given in and died. I am writing this on the Oldest Computer in the House right now.

LOL I don't know if it's that serious but I'm getting it checked out later. It's most probably a problem with the charger part of the laptop but I don't know cause I'm no computer expert. I hope it's not gonna cost a bomb to fix whatever's wrong.

Even if it has totally broken down and gone to hell, there's no chance I'm getting a new laptop cuz Jacqueline just bought a new pink Dell and my mom's gonna get one next, so yeah, probably 2010 if I wanted to get a new one hahahaha. Anyways, Dell?? They're like the Sony Ericsson of computers. Good specs I guess, but so boring and everyone has one hahahaha.

Dear laptop, please don't die on me. I know I haven't been a very good owner but you aren't a very good machine either and I still love you AND I am goddamn broke, so stay alive bitch!

Rant Like There's No Tomorrow

I've been back in KT for a couple days now and no one has ajak-ed me out yet. Why ah??? This is so sad. And sadder still is the fact that if someone did ask, I prolly can't go out cuz I gotta help out with all these TKD tournament thingies.

I hate it when my dad organizes TKD tournaments and I gotta help out; not because I'm a lazy bitch but because it is all I can do, running around on the sidelines instead of competing and winning gold medals and glorifying the family name or whatever those children of other instructors do. I hate it when nosy people ask, eh you not competing ah? And I answer I'm not interested in taekwondo and they're like, your father teach taekwondo worrr, organize this some more. Inside I'd be like, fuck off before I chop off your face. Of course, this has lessened in recent years cause it's been years and nothing has changed and now everyone already knows I'm the inadequate son. I can LOL all I want but this is fact kay?

ANYWAYS.... I've finally gotten all the HK pictures from Jac's cam and my Dad's. 1100 plus plus ya allah. Truly a camwhoring family. I've chosen like 50 to post and now all that's left to do is edit and resize, which is going to take forever. I don't even know how I'm going to post all the pictures. Maybe I should get a flickr account? Which has a very high probability of falling into the heap of web applications I have but don't use including Twitter, Myspace, Google Talk, Zoho and lots of other things I've forgotten.

Half-missing Weekends in KL Already

So the last weekend was my very last in KL before I go back to KT for like, another 2 weeks and also before I go totally broke. Which was why I wanted to fill it with as much fun as possible. When I said fun, my initial plan was to go parrrtaayyy for all 3 nights of the weekend since it's a long weekend and I wanted to prove that I'm still young and able to stand 3 consecutive nights of hardcore clubbing. But sayangnya, no one supported me so... mission failed.

Nonetheless, I had lots of fun starting on Saturday. I went to Pavilion with Chinyee and Cyntia and I decided to take on a new career path; as a narrator of children's books! We were at the kids' section at the bookstore and there was this loaded family who were asking their 3 year old child to pick out books he wanted. He just simply chose a few books that grabbed his fancy and his family would buy them. Naturally the books he chose were the hardback, super colorful, large, expensive ones. Yeeeesh is that how the rich spend their money?

So there was this cute little book lying on the table called Funny Faces and I started reading it in my 'children's book narrator' voice and making the silly faces shown in the book. Fun! We killed like an hour there and scared all the kids and their parents away.

The faces look so retarded and random but there's actually a plot! I uploaded a video of me doing my thang but I don't know if it works. It's at the bottom of this entry.

Later we watched Bolt. In 3D! With 3D glasses! OMG it was superb! Not just the glasses, but the whole movie :) Can't remember the last time I watched a movie with Chinyee. We used to go all the time when she was studying in TARC.

Us, Terminator-style. Later when other people camwhored with their 3D glasses, we laughed at them. LOL

The next day, we went to Bukit Bintang again but this time we went to Sg Wang instead of Pavilion cuz the day before, I saw sooooo many things that I really really wanted and they were all either too expensive (my red plaid trousers! My chunky shoes) or outta stock (latex leggings!!) so our mission of the day was to gali out the alternatives. Which also failed cuz we did not have enough time and Sg Wang is just too.... Well, at least we had a so-so dinner and very satisfying DESSERT (oooh la la~~) at Wong Kok ;)

We watched Twilight. Which was OK I guess. Cyntia loves it very very much. Me, not so much.

Our 'Christmas Tree Couple' outfits, according to aerynmavisngsookching. Hello it's December kay? It's not wrong to feel all Christmassy!

We went and kacau KarHao to yamcha, which reminds me, he needs a banner and a poster of my face in his room heh heh heh ;) Jaga-jaga ya, you stupid little small photograph on the desk! Hngh. Anyways, we saw a couple of Wall-E's. Their job is not to handle rubbish but to clamp cars that overstay their welcome. Cute.

Monday was The Highlight. It was the first time I ever attended a wedding with friends. It was soooo fun because instead of sitting with relatives you see only once every 3 years and kids that run around like chimpanzees on a sugar high, I get to sit with friends and talk and laugh and camwhore and eat like a pig and get all horrrny ;) I still had to endure horrible karaoke from all the old drunk folks and the lala superstar wannabes (why is this a permanent feature of all Chinese weddings??!?!) but at least we could all make fun of them together ha ha ha!

I malas wanna post the wedding pics here so I'm just gonna do it on Facebook. Here's a pic of us in Ricky's room which is like the dream room for 5 year old girls everywhere. LOL.

At night we slept till 9 something or 10 then we went steamboat! Which was sooo yeah cuz I've been craving steamboat for very very long. And because it was so late when we got there, we got the whole place to ourselves. Which meant total chaos for the restaurant and awesome fun for us. After stuffing our faces full for 2 hours, we were near exploding and decided to camwhore with Howyee's New Phone but still, Motorola remains the best camwhore phone :P
After the totally fab meal, we thought that was it cuz some of us gotta work / study the next day but while we were hanging around the parking lots we discovered that we can still go on and on and on and on so off to Steven's we go. And there we stayed till 5 in the morning while every table around has had different customers once or thrice.

Tuesday was Pavilion Day again and because we parked near the Food Floor, as soon as we walked in we were bombarded by all this sooo very delicious food. We walked just for awhile before we gave in to temptation and got ourselves creampuffs and Japanese desserts. YUMMM to the max! Rong joined us later. I haven't seen her in such a long long long long time, like since her farewell party.

All of us with glowing smiles, except for half-dead Howyee operating on two hours of sleep.

We jalan at both Pavilion and Sg Wang and because I was absolutely sick of not getting anything after 3 days of shopping at the same place, I bought a CD and a tee just to console myself. Which I really needed because that night was a total nightmare for me. I was ready to just DIE and/or MURDER but D made it up the next day so all good for now :)

So whaddya think bitches? If I flunk my studies, I could totally do this for a living right? But beware, repeated viewings (or even single viewing) might induce in you a violent feeling to slap me unconscious! That's how gaybai it is. Enjoy :)
